Mission Statement 

Melanoma Angel Network is COMMUNITY of individuals and partners committed to improving the lives of those affected by Melanoma.  We recognize that the battle with Melanoma affects more than just the patient and we are here to support ALL the people involved (the survivors, current patients, those who have passed, and all the friends, family, and caregivers) collectively the “Angel Network”.

3 “C”s

COMMUNITY: we aspire to create a network of avid supporters, advocates, and friends as we collectively work to beat this disease.

COMPASSION: we will offer compassion, consoling, and counseling for ALL affected by Melanoma.

CHARITY: as we raise funds, we will selectively donate to the causes, foundations, and research organizations of our choice.

 

How do we do this

Fundraising:  We will regularly host and participate in raising funds to further the advance of treatment options, the availability of clinical trials, and education of non-traditional means of recovery.  We will partner with world renowned organizations such as the Melanoma Research Foundation and the Skin Cancer Foundation as well as funding specialized research and programs (on a case by case basis).

Education:  We will continue to serve as a valuable megaphone for the cause.  The Melanoma Angel Network will play a critical role in further the difficult conversations of prevention, education, and treatment.

Community:  Most importantly, Melanoma Angel Network will serve as a community of passion, of support, and most importantly of FUN!
